Did you read it on the internet ? Must be true .
That complex consist of many buildings , and have been torn down and rebuilt ,, I think people get the dates mixed up . The new hospital wasn't complete until 1979 . Some of the old buildings still stand for other use .
I worked there in the 80's . It was not operating as a hospital at that time .

That was real interesting about the hospital, chopsaw--didn't know about that. Gotta admit I'd have been just a tad concerned after seeing the steel door and welded metal banding.
I did a bunch of checking and apparently that wing of the hospital was demolished in 1978. But just that wing.
