Has anyone ever mounted a rotisserie in their smoker? How did it work? Would you get a better smoked product by using a rotisserie?

Thanks from a smoking nubie.

I wouldn't think it would be to easy to do that.  Not sure what benefit if any you would get either.  With the product right on the grates you get maximum smoke coverage.  I would venture to say your smoker just doesn't need one.  Although I am sure someone on here will have done it or tried LOL

If you have a PIT style smoker it may work but don't know....I have an electric.

There is a few who have mounted rotisseries, most on barrel pits but it seems to be a very devoted crowd.

I have seen a few builds here

Chef Willies, but he makes everything look good.

I am sure there is more, but I bet Chef Willie will be able to help you.
