Rookie From Oregon

Hello everyone. 

My name is Rvi the i is silent so its pronounced RV. I found out about this site through a friend of mine that owns a local pizza joint. I'm completely new to using a smoker. I have no idea what I'm doing and figured this would be a great place to start and find some tips. 

I've also just picked up fly fishing and gear rod fishing I'm hoping this winter to hit up some of the salmon/steelhead run here in Oregon and try smoking it. My smoker I bought is a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker and would love to also try smoking a turkey or ham for the holidays.
