Rolled roast or solid roast?

    I was wondering if a solid roast smoked low and slow cooks differently than a rolled roast does. I had a rolled roast stall for an incredibly long time while the solid inside round zipped right along with almost no stall. Timewise it was 1 hour and 35 minutes difference for 5 lb roasts.

    I personnaly Have never smoked a rolled roast but have smoked whole roast and it just zoomed right thou no stalk in fact I posted a question about it here.
