Ribs are done Ribs done lol.

I got this weber season at walmart yesterday just to give it a try and man it is great. I coated the ribs (after removing membrane) with EVOO and rubbed them both sides.

They sat for a few hours prior to going in the pellet smoker on high smoke( 220 average)bone side down for 6 hours. I mixed up a bottle of ACV with some of the rub with a little brown sugar and basted on the hour for five hours then lightly when i pulled them.

The pellets were a mix of Apple and Hickory and kept it simple with the addition tater tots. The wife assures me they are the best ribs i have made and I agree. Ribs are the one thing that i have not once been satisfied with the outcome until now. id like a little more color on the inside and i think it was lacking because of the amount of apple pellets i put in the mix. next time i will go with just hickory and if i put apple in the mix it will be minimal.

That or i will break down and get some cherry pellets
