Looks like the stainless steel coating is wearing off, is it still safe to use?  The good news is that I have only two racks to do today, so will not need this, but I will for the 4 rack jobs.

Thanks in advance

Ray

Ray, I think it would be alright, however,if you have any further doubt , simply tent foil on each frame, and cook as usual.

Thanks will do, just wondered if it happened to anyone else here.   Good thing only two racks today.  Command Performance though, as its the Mid Autumn Festival (which would explain the five spice rub on one rack)

thanks for the advice

Ray, morning.... I think the steel racks are plated with copper then nickel or chrome.... the outer layer has worn off.... either way, cooks use copper and steel for cooking.... Dave
