I've done this method a few times with steak but this is my first crack at burgers.

Mixed burger with egg, red onion, minced garlic, salt, chipotle pepper, and some breadcrumbs... had to make one a little smaller for the Mrs.

Placed on grill offset over my Pellets, far right burner a little lower than half way held the grill pretty close to 230º and I kept it like that for a little less than an hour until burgers were 115°.

Turned the pellets to get a little more air, can see the smoke coloring the burgers...Finished the burger over real high heat for about 2 minutes per side, adding cheddar while tending to fries and toasting the buns so I didn't snag a pic.

Here is the final product... Extremely juicy burger!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the point... I've only known it for about a year, I've definitely been missing it the rest of my life.

Same here....I love the reverse sear!! So.....how did the burgers taste?

Points!!

Thanks!  They were great, I've been on a red onion kick lately and having some chopped up small with the ninja and mixed throughout really added a nice touch!

Thanks Browneyes!  I feel like any time I add a bunch of stuff I want the egg and breadcrumbs to help keep it all together.
