  Cappy, my Faithful BBQ Dog who protected the smoker from ravenous squirrels and his Coonhound sister has gone on after a series of strokes or vascular events.  He will be missed at the Pit.

I lost my best friend just a few months ago.  Hands down the best dog I've ever known.  Passed away on my lap and my wife and I cried like babies.  We found him in the pound at the ripe old age of 10 weeks old and had him for 13 and a half years.

I truly feel your pain and hope you revel in the memories of the joy your friend brought over the years.
