How many of you (if any) with SFB's take meat off the grill when you refuel? I ask because someone in another thread mentioned it or at least moving the meat. I assume the theory is that when you dump a chimney of burning coals in your firebox you're going to get some sort of ash cloud going up into the cooking chamber. I myself cannot be arsed taking meat off. I just close the chimney vent to stop the draw for a half a minute or so.

So am I in the minority?

Whew. Glad to hear that. Because taking the meat off each time would be a major PITA and would make using my SFB decidedly less enjoyable.
