I do this with all kinds of liquids … various stocks and drippings and sauces. Love having those at hand for remoisturizing or even different cooks.
We've been buying the condiment cups with lids and freeze barbecue liquids and AuJus in those. A little larger and very handy to thaw.

I use Souper Cubes (Amazon) … they come in 2 cup, 1 cup, 1/2 cup, and 2 Tbs … silicone easy release with covers. Actually, think someone here turned me on to those a couple years back.
