MES Window Cleaning Solution

My recommendation: isopropyl alcohol.

About three months ago I completely cleaned my MES. I posted about it, but the thread went off on a tangent about a picture that displayed sideways. However, I did get some great suggestions, one of which was something called Purple Power. It would be interesting to find out how it compares to Awesome. I hadn't heard about that before.

Finally, I use TSP. You must make sure it is the real TSP (i.e., it really is made from trisodium phosphate). There are some products that claim to be TSP, but have a formulation that is a little more eco-friendly. I don't worry about that because TSP is actually quite benign (it is not toxic to humans). It's one problem is that the phosphate portion of it is actually a powerful fertilizer and if it finds its way into lakes and rivers before it breaks down it causes algae blooms that can be harmful to fish. Since I don't live near any bodies of water, I don't worry about it.

The lake I live near by is notorious for turning green and stinking of Algae because farms etc. So I doubt any thing I use once every few weeks in small amounts would hurt. I think I've heard of purple power John. I'll have to go through alot of sprays etc to see what I all got.

I must do something wrong when I use alcohol. It never works for me.

"Awesome" is "Awesome", and works so much better than anything else I've ever used, except maybe Ashes.

Well I plan to dunk my parts in soapy water today outside later. We're going out for later lunch for my father's Birthday. So I figured throw em then and check when I come back home!
