I have been thinking about building something similar, and seeing your craftsmanship, is fueling that itch.

Biggest thing I worry about is, will I actually use it enough to justify building it, or is this something I want for the sake of want, and to have yet another project.
It was something I just wanted.
having a "santa maria" grill is a need, and I mean a NEED NEED, type of need grill...... I know I'm not helping.....
Did I need it NO! Does it help me from using several grills on larger cooks? Absolutely!
It's gonna be fun come fall!

Thanks for the kind words Brother! Seriously, I guess my advice would be, not too many guys ever regret owning a nice new cooker. Heck, you may find out you'd use an open fire pit more that any cooker you have!
