Redi Chek Issue

I'm not sure if this is the area to post this so forgive the new guy. checking out my maverick 732 set up the hights and lows and turned on the alarm but no sound could I be missing something?

The start/stop button on the lower right of the receiver turns the sound on and off.
Also the temp has to be above or below the set values to set off the alarm.
Set the therm for 210 degrees & see if it goes off when you put it in boiling water.

Thanks for the speedy reply. The alarm does not go off I packed it up and sending it back to Amazon. I went for a few dollars more and ordered the 733. BTW is there a spot for off-topic discussions?
