I want a refer/freezer thermometer for our second unit. I have a bluetooth one, but I dont love it. I would rather switch to a Wifi and use my phone....if I can do so without breaking the bank.

Any recommendations?

I found this one, which has the added bonus of adding a third sensor for the dethatched heated garage. The Garage sensor would be a nice addition because the pilot goes out sometimes and then it gets cold AF and bad things happen.

Not much help other than I have a few Govee products and they all work well. Set up was easy on all of them. Have had a couple units 4-5 years still connected and no problems

Thats a big help! Probably gonna do it soon. The boss doesnt like the Bluetooth temp monitor hanging around. I will score points for getting that to go away.

Thanks for the Govee tip.
I'm the opposite. I need a unit to monitor the apartment temps while we are gone for the summer. Condenser unit breaker trips randomly.

David these are on sale right now. Mine are all Bluetooth and would like wifi. Dont know how good they are though. I would have to buy 3 packs of Thermometers as I need 7 in all. Suppose to handle 10 units.

Gateway with 2 Thermometers $27

Thermometer 2 pk $20
Hi Brian, thanks for the tip! I never wrapped this up...life has been in the way. But I like the gateway with two therms. the bluetooth one I have is ok, but it would be much nicer to have it all on wifi.

I been using the Govee wireless meat thermometer but like the Inkbird I have trouble getting notifications if the app is not called up on screen. If I use another app and dont go back to Govee or Inkbird I dont get notifications. Probably be the same with this. I was a click away from ordering but right now I can look in one place and see everything. Think I just stick with Bluetooth for now.

I need this, while dealing with heating/hot water system and hot tub being blown out by the power surge I just went to get meat out of my chest freezer and found the wall of outlets on it is down. Entire chest freezer full of eat gone.

OMG so sorry to hear this. That is my worst nightmare and the reason I have the BT one. we have a full size refer/freezer in a closet in the lower level. Its packed with meat both raw and smoked.

That really sucks man!

yep, just counted and weighed everything nearly 70lbs, chicken, beef, gyro meat 7 racks of pork and beef ribs, 13 lbs of London broil and more. Going to add this to the list going to insurance....I will probably be dropped again.
