Nepas LIVES!!!!

I have not tried any of the S. African dried meats yet, biltong and boerewors are still on my list too. There just isn't any mutton/lamb available here. But I do like the use of coriander as a seasoning.

It looks great Nepas.

Well it really looks like they turned out, What is the texture and flavor like? I did google them up and think that is something to try.

I’m interested in canuck’s question too. This recipe looks interesting for sure. Nice to see Rick pushing the envelope as usual!

These look great... but I must admit.. they TASTE great too... We were visiting NEPAS for a couple of days and got to try them... ended up bringing a few of them home with me... I tell ya... NEPAS is "THE MAN" when it comes to sausage ... He and Boykjo are the two that taught me how to make sticks and sausage... so when ever one of them speaks.. I listen ...

The texture is like this. 80% dry 20% moist. I have made these with Elk, venison & lamb and they all turn out the same. The Poli recipe is easy.

Keith & Charlotte <hope spelled right) Came to the resort for a couple days, i was not much company as i had hand surgery the day before they got here.

Thanks y'all

We went to cracker barrel to get some dinner.
