Hi folks,
Well,let me say that this is one great place to get smokin information. I'm a middle age man and have been bbqin for quite some time. I've smoked a bunch of stuff on a grill but just purchased my first real SMOKER..
It's a 3 rack Great Outdoors gas moker. I will be getting up about 3am to stat smokin my first 16lb picnic. No sence in playing around. If your gonna do...doit! I had to check with my buddy jdr37 to find out how.
I live in east central Fla. so the smokin is good all year. I plan on doing a bunch.

Good luck with it. A 16 pounder will take a while to smoke, but what the hell, sometimes you just have to grab the bull by the horns.
