Hi, my name is Charles and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I first want to thank Dave for his info on the black tar building up on the inside of my pit. I am new to smoking and just learning using a non electric side burner smoker. I have smoked about 4 briskets and am getting better each time but am still learning so I am by far wet behind the ears when it comes to smoking but I love it! The only drawback I have is the tat build up inside my pit that started to drip on my brisket! Can not wait to talk to you guys and share the good times ! Charles
