Each year our little town has a Hopefest which is a time of worship with several Christian bands that play. My brother loved the event more than darn near anything. He'd talk about it for months in advance and all the organizers knew him from his involvement and early arrivals. I was thrilled to be able to participate as a presenting sponsor this year with his face and memorial on all flyers and a banner on the stage. Today is the festival and I've never went before but in true Barry fashion I showed up super early to claim a good spot. I'm trying to remain celebratory it it's been a real emotional roller coaster and super hard to hold back the tears. I know he's looking down loving it today so I'm trying to remain celebratory. Thanks for listening to me. Pic is early band warming up and his banner.

Great way to honor your brother and I believe Barry would be ecstatic that you are there...

What an honor Jeff. I'm sure your brother is looking down. And loves and appreciates you being there.

Seems like a great way to honor him. Very cool 👍

What a great tribute Jeff and an awesome way to celebrate his memory and life.

Thanks guys! It was a great night. I know he was looking down smiling not only because of the sponsorship in his memory but also because I went to it. My eyes tended to be misty the entire night as I felt him strongly. The bands were very good one being Consumed by Fire and the other Jordan St Cyr. Ministry was good too and got me to thinking popping into church at least once in awhile might be a good idea. Thanks again all.
