Each year our little town has a Hopefest which is a time of worship with several Christian bands that play. My brother loved the event more than darn near anything. He'd talk about it for months in advance and all the organizers knew him from his involvement and early arrivals. I was thrilled to be able to participate as a presenting sponsor this year with his face and memorial on all flyers and a banner on the stage. Today is the festival and I've never went before but in true Barry fashion I showed up super early to claim a good spot. I'm trying to remain celebratory it it's been a real emotional roller coaster and super hard to hold back the tears. I know he's looking down loving it today so I'm trying to remain celebratory.
