Smoking some wings on the Kamado tonight for the football game. I had them in brine over night thinking that would thaw them out but it really didn't. I've currently got them spread out on cookie sheets in my garage which is 45 degrees. Anything I can do a little more quickly so they are ready to grill in about 5 hours?

I use a large SS bowl and cool water . Change the water after a bit . When thawed or close , I dry them off and season . If time allows I go in the fridge uncovered . If not I just leave them on the counter .
Agree, literally doing this right now with chicken thighs in the sink. Fill will cool water, keep them submerged, change water a few times. They will be ready by late lunch / dinner time. Then prep them as usual.

It sounded like the OP had them swimming all night long.

Warning warning smart arse comment incoming.... thaw them out on the grill. Ok kidding but how did they turn out??? Remember we love pictures!

^agree. Wings are small enough that they'd thaw out in no time on a grill/smoker. Might add 15 min to cook time.

The bagged party wings I usually buy say “Cook from Frozen” right on the package.

That said, I’m skeptical and have never tried it. I thaw them first, fridge or bowl of cold water.
