I have a char broil smoker. Not used much. I smoked a 7lb. pork butt yesterday. I used apple wood. I applied smoke until I foiled it. The pork was great just not much smoke flavor. This unit is propane and has no adjustment on bottom vents. The top is adjustable. I left them 100% open the whole time. Other than the lack of smoke flavor I was completely satisfied with my first pork butt. Any help would be appreciated.
