Question about seasoning steak

Liberally sprinkle with coarse kosher/sea salt, let sit 45-60 minutes, drop on hot grill. If steak is much thicker than 1" then do the same but cook with reverse sear. A good steak should not need much seasoning. We raise our own grass fed Dexter beef, and salt is all it gets (except sometimes a dollop of butter when on a skillet).

We like our steak dry brined with coarse kosher salt over night. Then pepper, granulated garlic and avocado oil. Avocado oil works great in cast iron skillet and when using the SnS. My latest fave steaks are Costco’s prime sirloin cap steaks. They’re delicious and as tender as can be.

I personally like my steaks cooked naked then salt and pepper them while they are resting. I really like the flavor of good beef so naked all the way here.
I'm with you. Don't need all that salt on a good steak, but i generally at least don shorts and a tee shirt!!
