You can use this sauce to fix your mistakes after making terrible chicken that the skin got burnt or is all rubbery . Pulled chicken doesn't use skin.. you pull it off and trash it. Lol
This sauce is for 2 chopped and shredded birds about 4 lbs each.

Molasses 3/4 C
Ketchup 1/2 C
Tomato paste 1/2 C
Chicken broth 4 C
Cider vinegar 1 1/4 C
1 C of bred coffee
Small onion minced
2 tsp oil of choice
2 Tbs brown mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp liquid smoke.
1 Tbs hot sauce.

You cook the onion till tender in the oil and do that in a bigger pot like 5 or 6 qt Dutch oven.. bout 5 min. Whisk in the broth, coffee, vinegar, molasses, tomato paste, ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, garlic powder..... bring to a boil. Reduce the heat medium low and simmer till it reduces to about 4 cups.. should take over an hour. Stir in the liquid smoke and dip a cup or so out for saving to serve.
Chop up your dark meat and shred the breast up.. add it to the pot of sauce band warm it all up to serve on buns. [emoji]128556[/emoji]
