Had a great smoke this weekend. Did up some pulled pork and SmokinAl SmokinAl 's smoked beans recipe.

Smoked the pork (8.4 lbs.) at 225 with some hickory chunks. Just a bit of mustard as a binder and my rub. Took 11.5 hours for the butt to hit 193-195. Wrapped for 2 hours and then pulled. Good color, bark, and turned out really juicy.

While the pork rested I put the beans on at 250 and smoked with hickory chunks for 2 hours. I thought they turned out pretty well considering this was the first time doing them. The family seemed to like them as well. Everyone complimented them. Thanks for the recipe SmokinAl SmokinAl !!!
