Pulled Chicken

Found some chicken leg quarters on sale and I am going to try some pulled chicken.  I was researching a chicken finishing sauce and ran across this thread http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/112116/pulled-chicken-finishing-sauce-reccomendation

I loved SoFlaQuer's Finishing Sauce (For Pulled Pork).  Does anyone have a recommendation for chicken?

I typically whip up a batch of BBQ sauce.

Coconut milk, lime, lemongrass and chile or chipotle makes for a different and tasty finishing sauce.

If you are looking for a different flavor profile then brining can be good. I do not brine chicken, but I do marinate chicken. You could inject. I have injected quarters using this recipe:
