Proud New Owner of a WSM 22.5

Hi everybody, my name is John and I am the proud new owner of a WSM 22.5. After doing a ton of research I settled on the WSM and am still in the process of learning the ropes and getting familiar with it. I am incredibly enthusiastic about learning the art of BBQ and look forward to learning from you all.

Hey John, welcome to the SMF family!  Lots of folks here with WSMs, including yours truly.  The WSM is a great, easy to use smoker.  You'll figure it out in no time flat.  I absolutely love mine and go into withdrawls if I don't smoke something at least once a week.  Just finished up last weekend's smoked leftovers and now I'm obsessed with what to smoke next.  Smoking is one truly glorious addiction. 

Ask whatever comes to mind and you'll get lots of answers, all helpful.  Looking forward to hearing about your first smoke!
