Yes I was----My Son smoked a couple Butts the other day, and gave me some Pulled Pork. It tasted great, so I knew it was time for a Prime Rib !!

Man-O Man....That is a nice looking plate. I'm glad your taste buds are returning to normal. I can almost smell it and taste it from here. $4.99 a pound WOW it is $11.00 a pound here and not a prime cut.

Last 3 years, week before Christmas, Giant has Standing Rib Roast "Choice" for $4.99 lb.

Last time I got 70 pounds of it!! That was Christmas of 2011-----I have one left.

So why was the roast marked down so much? I can't find one for less than 3x that usually.

Had the hate of food too after heart surgery and lost 50 lbs in 6 weeks. YUK Finally came back so I know how you feel and I am glad it happened for you.

Food looks great. Hope you were able to fully enjoy.

Went in Hosp at 6' 3"---- 234.

The 12 days in intensive care actually blew me up to 257

Came home after 28 days dehydrated to 201. Back to 230 now.

I spent 8 weeks at Ft Dix in 1968.

Also 3 days at Dix (1969), waiting for the Big 12,000 mile trip from McGuire AFB.

BTW: Prime Rib is about the easiest smoke I do.
