David I like it a little more rare, but I wouldn't turn that down for sure. The marbling in those steaks is really good and what I like to see in a steak. Great cook and keep Mona happy with the wrap tonight...😉

Here are 4 of the 12 oz Prime striploin steaks that I picked up with the load of Beef last month.

Thawed in fridge, prepped up with gr. pepper and Montreal Steak spice.

These have some nice fat content.

Onto the BBQ with some Hickory chips for a light smoke, as the cover was not closed long at all.

Already had the potatoes and the fried onions and gravy ready before they went on the Q

Took them to 138, and in house tented with foil while everything else gotset up.
The finish was closer to Medium . ( still light pink in middle )
Very very tender and big thumbs up from the ladies. Flavour was really good also.

I took the second one down with the crisper crust, so juicy.

My plate, with the fixins.

There was one left over , so sweety wants it sliced up and stir fried witrh veg in a wrap. So it will happen tonight.

One of the big beef rib packs will be on the next smoke in the " Smokers Shed " as I have not been out there for a bit.

Thanks for reading along.

David
Good looking plate! I love a good strip steak. Got a strip loin on sale with the prime rib roasts at Christmas and hand cut some steaks. We had some for dinner and froze the rest for later.

Thanks Charles for the love and the comment.

I know most like it more rare than I do, and that is what I would do if asked.

These were very juicy for sure. and love me some mashed and gravy

And the steaks have a very nice marbleing to them , and I think the rest of the beef in that order will be like that , especially the Wagyu. I will be trying the beef ribs next week if it times out right with work.

She was very pleased with the beef wraps,......must keep her smiling. :emoji_sunglasses:

Yes they are good looking striploins, and nice meal. Still have 4 or 6 more left in the freezer.

I have not bought the Loins and cut my own , but that would be more economical I bet.

Those where some great looking steaks and you did them justice David. I would devour that plate. Love those mustard pickles Had some couple days ago.

Thanks Brian for the like and the comment.

They were very good steaks and I did ok with them, I have a few more in freezer, but with try 1 of the beef ribs next week I hope. See how much meat is on them then.

And yes I love me some pickles. These are store bought, not bad , but not mine. I will make them next year I hope if I find the time ( I will find the time as I miss them ) lol

Glad you like them.

That's a beautiful plate, David! Hard to beat a delicious grilled steak - and yours look terrific!

It was a good supper for sure, and I loved the steak, and so did the Ladies. I know most like them a lot pinker than I do. These were very juicy and tender. Love the taste of grilled beef with light spice.

I was thinking that might be the brine from the pickles. Looks super mustardy (which I would like). Homemade?

Ken here is what I was talking about , when I make my own

And the mustard and the Bread and Butter are fantastic. And like you said the brine / juice for the mustard pickles is great on lots of things.

It was 8.99 a pound. That's a Christmas time sale though. The prime rib roasts were the same price. nice marbling on yours. I bet they were delicious!
