Hi everyone! Was in Walmart today and noticed they had a pallet of 22lb boxes of prime 6 charcoal marked down to $15 (originally $45). I didn’t buy any because I was skeptical of the flavor of these things in my kettle or WSM. They claim to burn 6 times longer than regular charcoal and 22lbs of this stuff is equal to 60lbs of briquettes. Thought I would ask your thoughts before I buy and end up having to use them as bonfire fuel.. thanks!!

At $15 for 22 lbs might be worth the money just to augment what you already use. Thats only $0.68 a pound.
