The best thing about living in Oklahoma is that I can buy meat that has been minimally processed (i.e., not shot up with a bunch of salt water and preservatives) directly from a ranch. The owner of Bar Mac is very nice, also. Whenever I call, I deal with him personally, and he's always very honest with me. I can call him with a custom order for pretty much anything on a Monday, and he will have it ready for me on Thursday -- plenty of time to prepare for a weekend cookout.

I just wanted to drop the price list here and see how it compares to prices in other areas. Does it seem reasonable? Your opinions are appreciated.

Most everything is higher than what I pay at the grocery stores or meat market here but I'm sure yours is a much better quality

Here's the breakdown of cuts offered in the bulk packages. The writing on this is from when I inquired about a smaller package that he offers. I really need to get a freezer!

I've bought many cuts from Bar Mac, and the quality is unmatched. I hope that you can find an Angus rancher in your area, too. Don't settle for meats that have been injected with *anything*!!
