Prayers please

Our family would really appreciate some heavenly words.
My mom celebrated (not really) her 89th birthday yesterday in the hospital.
We are anticipating surgery tomorrow due to an intestinal blockage. She is pretty much confined to her lift chair at home as her body is worn out but mind in clearer than mine on most days.
She has a minor heart condition to add to her complications. She has been a wonderful mother, grandmother repeatedly told me that she is tired and ready to go home.

The good news:
Her surgeon is a cooker and smokes on a Lang.

Well a pretty good report so far.
Things are beginning to flow in the right direction and the smoker surgeon wants to wait it out if possible....kinda like a brisket cook . Praying for the dam to bust.

The Dr's morning visit was more good news. Things are still moving and she is now on a liquid diet. If she can tolerate that, she with have solids available this evening and possibly be released Fri or Saturday!

Many thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
She was not a good candidate for the rehab unit but she was able to home under Hospice/Respit care on Wed.
Got a hospital bed delivered and set up yesterday and is much more comfortable that in the hospital.
She is improving and sounds much better but not much fight left in her at this point.
Trying to get some sitters arranged thru my dad's VA benefits to help my relieve my aunt.
