Our family would really appreciate some heavenly words.
My mom celebrated (not really) her 89th birthday yesterday in the hospital.
We are anticipating surgery tomorrow due to an intestinal blockage. She is pretty much confined to her lift chair at home as her body is worn out but mind in clearer than mine on most days.
She has a minor heart condition to add to her complications. She has been a wonderful mother, grandmother repeatedly told me that she is tired and ready to go home.

The good news:
Her surgeon is a cooker and smokes on a Lang.

She remarkable made it thru 2 strokes @ age 96.

Thanks guys and very much appreciated.
One of her favorite sayings is
"I need the prayers and you need the practice " . She taught Sunday School, Mission Friends for the kids for over 50 yrs and too many VBS to count.
Cardiologist came in at 5am and said she was cleared for surgery.
Haven't seen the surgeon yet but should be soon.
