Powder coat question

I'm calling Sacramento powder coating shops and they're hesitant to coat my uds. They're worried it will flake off. I tell them it won't have high temps but they're all hesitant. Feedback please. Thanks.

I found a local shop hat has done a few and they quoted me only $100.00 better than other quotes of $160.00

I would most certainly take my business elsewhere. Any business that doesn't want my money is one I won't trust.
