Pinto bean day.

Sorted rinsed a few times, soak with 1/4 tsp baking soda overnight, rinsed a few more time this morning, in the pot with some salt pork, bring to a broil then add 4 T of the bolners, reduce to a simmer until tender. If need more water add hot water to the beans. Tilt lid so that the steam can get out some unless you got one them fancy lids with a steam hole in it.

You can use bacon also.

Cooked up some ground beef, drained and stirred into beans. Will eat later tonight with some flour tortillas.
