Pork Picnic?

Good evening fellow smokers,

I picked up a pork Picnic that was on sale and plan on smoking it tomorrow night into Saturday morning/afternoon. I've done quite a few Butts, but never a Picnic. Any thing different or do it the same?

Yeah, Just do it the same way. It could take longer because it's bigger.
The Butt is in there, but the Picnic includes more of the shoulder.
That's why it's cheaper---The Butt is the best part of it.

I think a Picnic is when a Butt is willing...
But I'm too old to care anymore.

Skinless.

You're good to go then. I always suggest removing the skin on a picnic when smoking.
