Pork Butt Question

On the subject of double wrapping ... I had leaks, so now I put my butt in a foil pan, wrap once with foil ... then the towel/cooler thing ... no loss of juices and no dirty towel!

Well, sorry I was not around to reply, but ya did good bud! Probably did not have to dry them- they'll smoke, don't worry. Bark matters not IMHO. Mold WILL. That sux having to toss wood... How's it going?

I usually soak mine anyway - they tend to not burn up so quick if they're wet. Of course, I use chips in my smoker, not chunks, so it's more of an issue on mine - probably not on yours.
