Pork Bellies

Couple weeks I asked if anyone knew of a good place to buy whole fresh pork bellies in central Fl. Well glad to report I found a great source. Newberry Cold Storage in Newberry Fl. Newberry is located jest west of Gainsville. Real nice people, quality bellies @ $3.00 Per lb. A little bit of a drive, but worth it.

Hey Van Holton. I just go to my local publix and ask the butcher to cut me off a few pounds. They look at me a little funny at first, but then they go ahead and do it.

There is a place in Polk City as well for about the same price. Can not remember the name of the store, it is located around the corner from a feed store.

I know that helps a lot....
