I know this isn't smoking food, but I did two amazing stew over Labor Day Weekend.

I did pork loin in one and venison steaks in the other, both with a gravy and baby portabella mushrooms, red potatoes, celery, carrots, and I think I put some onion in with it, put them over the fire for the day and they turned amazing in the Dutch ovens.  They both were amazing but if I had to pick one over the other pork all the way.

Gary,

I normally do that, but this time I was cooking for a big camping get together, and the smoker I was using (not mine) was full of this.

I currently don't have my big trailer smoker as I sold mine so I could purchase a better one and am awaiting for my new one to get built by Shirley Fabrication.  But Thanks for looking.

Great looking stew! There's a Dutch oven cooking sub forum here so post your cooks away!

Dirtsailor2003,

I did not know there was a section for Dutch ovens, Thanks for the update.

Sunday I am going to do a smoked venison inner and outer tenderloin, stew in a Dutch oven, over open fire with a tripod. I will make sure to post pictures in the right spot.

Thanks for looking.

Dang it man that looks good!!! Nice job

A full smoker is a happy smoker
