Popcorn Tin "Mailbox" Mod - My Version

Been wanting to build my own Mailbox style smoker for my MES 30 for a while. Came across this popcorn tin full of popcorn for $5 over the holidays and recalled this thread. I realized after I got it home I wouldn't be able to fit my Amazen tray in it upright so I decided to go sideways. Added a few legs with some random hardware I had laying around at work and here is what I came up with. Hoping to break it in soon. I'll post my results when I do.

Lots of room for the smoke to cool and leave the creosote behind.

So finally a use for boyscout popcorn after all! Buy it to chuck it and make a mod for the MES!

Finally had a chance to try out the popcorn tin. Worked great! Smoked cheese thread here. Some mods I want to do going forward are working tightening up the fitting on the smoker. I may even add an elbow but it won't be necessary. It's also pretty light and the flexible hose if bumped will cause it to tip so I may have to weigh it down or somehow make it more stable. It was so easy to light and keep lit compared to using the tray in the smoker.
