After a pretty rough day at the office. I just want a few beers. A shot or three. And a easy filling meal. Ann was already in bed. So I came up with this.
Take a few 4 meat and cheese hot pockets.

Cook according to instructions. And put in a CI pan with some marinara sauce on the bottom.

And more marinara sauce on top.

Some sharp cheddar.

Some mozz.

Pepperoni and salami.

Then cooked for 10 minutes at 375. Then broiled for 7 minutes. I was ready for a mushy mess. But I was wrong. The hot pockets held there shape and texture fine.
It was a very good tasting meal!

Wow that actually looks awesome, tasty and creative!

I haven’t had a hot pocket since college. It’s one of those things you ate so much of that you could care less if you ever ate another one...but I must say I’d dive head first into that meal!

Very creative my friend.
Thank you!

Thanks! I keep some in the freezer in case there is nothing for work. Or a quick snack. The 4 meat and cheese ones are pretty darn good by themselves.

Another fine creation. But WOW how did you go to bed after that. Man what a case of acid reflux that would be for me.

Warren

Thanks Warren. I used to suffer from acid reflux horribly until I was diagnosed with sleep apnea.
After I got the corrective surgery. And got a apap unit. I sleep much better. And haven't had reflux in 10 years or so.

Oh yeah! The worst for me was anything with tomato sauce in it. Or spicy foods. I used to take OTC pills for it.

That looks wonderful Steve! What a creative way to improve an existing product. As a fellow Sleep Apnea sufferer myself (using a CPAP) never had the surgery, I can appreciate not eating certain foods. But since the diagnosis, 20 years ago, I can eat almost anything, except very spicy stuff. This would work for me any day. I still keep extra strength Tums nearby just in case, LOL. Gotta try this. Thanks for sharing.

Damn Steve what an idea! Looks freakin awesome. Its like hot pockets with a pizza on top. Great meal to have after several beers for sure!

You get an A+ for the idea steve! And a big like. Haven't had hot pockets for years, but that sure looks good

On Edit: That looks So Good, I started some research---Damn!!! Can't do it---Just those Hot Pockets are EACH over 500 mg of Sodium---Then plenty more in the sauce. I can't take that much sodium, if I want to stay out of the Hospital. Looks Soooo Freaking Good!!!

Thanks Mike! How long you been using a CPAP? I upgraded a few years ago to a APAP. Much better machine. And much quieter.

Thanks Bear! No, this isn't salt friendly at all. I also try to keep my sodium intake done. Though it isn't doctors orders...yet.

Thank you Robert! And it was a strain on the brain stem thinking that one up last night. Glad I did though.

Been using CPAP since 2002 or 2003. My doctor never mentioned the APAP. I'm gonna look into it. My newest machine about 5 years old is much quieter than the last one, but still somewhat noisy.

I'm using the airsense RS10 Autoset unit. Worlds apart from the CPAP. With my medical coverage. I'm allowed a new machine every 5 years.

OK, thanks for the info. Are you able to adjust the PSI? I use 13PSI. The original setting from the Dr was too low, and I couldn't sleep. I'll definitely check that machine out. Which type of mask are you using? I'd been using the nasal pillows kind, and they've discontinued it. Now I have to find a replacement. The one recommended by the Dr is terrible. Luckilly I still have 2 of the discontinued ones, but they usually last about 9 months.

I'll let you know my findings, as my 5 years is up this December for my insurance and I'm due for new machine.
