PitMaster Deluxe Smoker

Just picked up this sweet smoker for $50 off Craigslist. Made of thick steel (3/32"?) and in awesome condition. Good metal integrity on bottoms, especially on the firebox. Looks like previous owners used mainly for grilling. Hrills still have porcelain on them too! I plan to use this only for smoking as I am happy with my Weber for grilling. Can't wait
to get started on my NEW HOBBY!

I believe I will keep it simple and start off with chicken until I learn the grill.

I'm noticing that HUGE hole between the firebox and the meat compartment! I figure I may have to do some Mods to effectively control the temp.

Any ideas where to start?
