Sugarbob here, and I am glad to have found you guys!

I run a small country catering operation here in Southern Vermont. We specialize in Whole Hog Pig Roasts. We do about 10 events over the course of the summer months. My cooker/smoker is home built out of masonry blocks and iron and can hold four 170 pound hogs, but we usually just do them in pairs. We also run a small Maple Syruping operation, and infuse some of the syrup after we make it with smoke . This Smoked Maple Syrup is a product that I sell and is the key ingredient in the tomato and vinegar based sauce that we use at the pig roasts. We love Big Food, Slow Cooking, Sugar, Steam, and Smoke.

Dude it was all I could do to join up without help from my kids. But I will go buy a camera and figure that out, and dig some old photos out of the archives when I get home and on a more familiar computer.

Thanks for the Welcome!
