Picture Question?

Noticed in a thread I posted today that the attachments I included were thumbnail size. What does one do to have the pictures show up much larger without having to click on them?

You'll need to upload them to an image hosting service, photobucket.com is a popular one among SMF'ers. After you upload them, you embed them in your message by copy and pasting the IMG link. I think someone on here has a tutorial on how to do this. Hope that helps!

How to post Qview to Forum:

When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

Everyone here enjoys seeing the Qview so be sure to post plenty of pics...

Large ones that us old people with bad eyes can see.

Thanks for all the fast help guys.....just a couple more questions...I have a photobucket account and have uploaded 2 pics to an album.....I copy the code and paste it in the post.....when I go to test post the code is still there ....am I not supposed to see the pics at this point......thanks

When you are in the post area and you paste the code click on preview post at the bottom and you can see it then but remember you ahve to submit post when yur done

When I have pasted my code in the post area and go to post preview, the code is still there....I must be doing something wrong.....is the code suppose to be highlighted in blue like a regular link, because my codes that I paste are in regular black lettering>>>>>thanks again

Be sure you are using the code and not HTML or Direct Link...

Beer is right, use the IMG CODE in Photobucket and you should do fine posting pics.

I hate to be a pain.....but I am still stumped on getting the pics off of Photo Bucket.....I am pasting the info or code that I copied from Photo Bucket below.....seems to me I am doing everthing that the tutorals say to do....but shouldn't what I paste come up as an active link and highlighted instead of just black letters and numbers.....please take a look and let me know what you think I might be screwing up!!!!!!! Yeah something is wrong there. When you go to your photos, you will see four options below it to choose from. Copy the image code of that pic and then paste it in the thread here at SMF. It should work. If not, let us know.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING, EVEN IF YOU ARE CORRECT!!! Thanks for finding out the problem.....I have been using the name Rick for the last 2 years just to avoid all the c*** that goes with the name ****. Just automatically used it for photo Bucket. You can't fathoim all the garbage I have gotten in the last few years with that name......If I can't get photo Bucket to let me change it....maybe I can us one of my kids email addrresses on my other computer and set up a new account. No it wasn't Photo Bucket, it was this site.....I created a new account at Photo Bucket with one of my kids email address and it worked. I just posted "TEST PICTURES" thread and it worked.....again, thanks to all that helped me struggle through it...
