Absolutely! I'm glad I live in the country, near small town decent people. We talk to each other, open doors for one another, smile and say hi! Wave at complete strangers while driving down the road. I was raised working for a living, and to be respectful of others. That's what is sad, so many people can't do that or choose not to.
Too much in life can go wrong in too many ways, we don't need to be hateful of each other.

Similar here. Town of 500 or so in NE Wisconsin. Everyone is civil, waves, and helps when they can. It's how things should be, and the main reason I refuse to travel. My home is my paradise.

Thank you for that. And if this post of mine is against the forum rules, please feel free to remove it, but we need to get back to being able to have a discussion like adults and learn to agree to disagree without hate and violence. Shutting down discussion is what leads to the events we've been witnessing. Sharing thoughts and ideas is what our country was built upon. If you are unable to do so in a civilized manner, move on.

The irony is that Charlie Kirk has always given people with opposing views a platform to speak. I've only seen anyone get shut down if they would not hush long enough for him to address what they had said.

Most nights in the summer we sleep with front door open ( screen door closed) to keep air flow. Never a concern for safety, and as I’d hope for everyone.

Well everyone is think we all understand that people wont always agree. I hope that we can be civil and respectful. Sadly some people have shown that they will read a thread they know they will disagree with and then comment anyways.

Thanks everyone who kept this clean. I'd like to end this thread here before it goes down hill. If you want to debate politics and this deeper I can suggest some forums that are there just for that purpose.

If you want to debate here it better be about fat cap up or down.
