This is my UDS I just finished. Notice the patch I put on the drum. It had a crack so I just welded a patch over it. Those 2 stainless bolts by the patch are utensil holders. I got 2 grates installed. One is at the recomended height of 24" from the bottom of the basket. The second grate holders are below that and at 20" above the bottom of the basket. I didn't feel like putting a dome lid on it and couldn't find a used grill anyways. I think the flat lids look awesome!! The basket is 3" above the floor of the drum.
I had to include a pic of my chimney I just built. Took me 15 minutes. Used old sheetmetal and wire fencing material and pop riveted everything into place.
