Ive just picked up my first meat slicer after using my aunts 10” cabelas. Now I’m researching how to take care of this. Wondering if anyone on here has a Globe G series slicer, specifically the GC512.
1. I just picked one up for $100 and am trying to figure out why the sharpener knobs are all so tight. Maybe just gummed up over years of neglect.
1a. How do I determine if I need new sharpening stones? Looks like It’s missing a bolt on the front side sharpener.
2. I also want to figure out whats the best process to deep clean and refurbish this unit.
3. Any homemade quaternary sanitizing solution or economical products to buy?
4. How do I polish this baby up? Maybe I shouldn’t ?
5. Do I need any accessories?
