Party pushed back till the 24th.. question....

I picked up a 13# PR on Friday the 2nd from Restaurant depot. Party was going to be on the 10th, but it's been pushed back till the 24th. My question, should I freeze it, or will it be ok till the 24th. There's no packed on date as it's a whole PR, but boneless.

That's a tough one to swallow, but I think I'd have to live with the purge from the thaw and toss in the freezer until about 5-6 days before the smoke...then back to the fridge. Without packaging dates it's a guessing-game.
