I painted my mini early this morning. I wanted to make sure it had time to dry so I could put it to use this afternoon!

I used the Rustoleum high heat paint. I wish the finish was a little shinier, to match the SJ, but I'm sure Joe will lose his shine over time.

Nice stencil and Great idea!!! Looks really good!!!

Little late now but VHT makes a caliper paint that is very high gloss and withstands 600*.

That looks awesome.   I'm leaning towards building a mini WSM.  I guess I need to think about paint at some point. 

I'm guessing you just masked off the design and sprayed it?

Thanks! I made a stencil out of the animals and then used that to cut out painters tape. The painters tape was laid out in slightly overlapping strips onto a piece of cardboard. Since the tape doesn't stick to the cardboard very well, it lifted off pretty easily in one piece. 

I hope you'll post pictures of your build, there's a lot of love for the mini on this forum!
