My wife loves baking cookies. We give away all of them.

She made gingerbread and roll out cookies plus chocolate pecan caramel bars. I made Bear's peanut butter melt away cups.
I found a great deal on the melting wafers at Sam's club. Got both the chocolate and white wafers. White wafers is the same as almond bark which are both vanilla flavored BTW.

The only thing missing from the photo is her pretzels dipped in almond bark.

We shared smaller plates with friends in our senior complex. I think I hear the faint beeping of glucose monitors.

The big share went to the local Fire Station that includes the ambulance service. Being a senior complex we (not us personally) are frequent flyers on their calls.
Here's 4 of 8 person crew on call for Christmas.

A small but well appreciated offering to the people that give up their holidays to serve the community.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.

Some good looking cookies/treats and a fantastic gesture. Happy Holidays John

Great gesture John. And everything looks delicious. Looks like they were very happy to get such a nice treat.
Merry Christmas.

Thanks everyone
My father was a volunteer fireman for 45 years while I grew up in MN. I remember a few Christmas times when he was out on a call.
This was way before my wife joined the family. So what set the itch?
Well, our son is a full time fireman for the city of Bismarck ND. He doesn't have any kids so offers to pick up Holiday shifts for those that want to spent time with family.

John II ... That's awesome of y'all...

Tell the misses we said Happy Holidays...
Thanks Keith.
You probably noticed this was the same sweets platters she provided for the gathering.
My electric bill reflects her baking frenzy
Blessed Holiday to you, Charlotte, and the clan.
