Price of prime rib roast is ridiculous sI cruised down to the meat managers specials and found two really nice Porter House steaks in the reduce price bin.

I am sorry for the doubles. Don't know how that happens. Seasoned the steak with Montreal Steak sesoning and put in the oven for about 50 mintes at 225 til it reached 120. Took it out and let it rest until my wife finished making her potato pancakes. She is not much of a meat eater but she fries up a mean potato pancake in bacon fat. We had garlic bread for a side dish and Christmas plum pudding for dessert. My daughter in-law makes ginger cookies for me every year and I do love her for it.

Fine looking steak! And meal! We had porterhouse steaks for supper. And who wouldn't love those cookies!

Great looking steak and meal. I'll take a handful of those cookies and a tall glass of ice cold milk.
