Hello! I finally built a smokehouse and would like y’all opinion of it and also give advice on my firebox and also chimney(if needed) and how big of a pipe/opening needed from my fire box to my smokehouse. I have a 60gal propane tank that I am going to make into my fire box. Smoke house is 72”y’all x27”wide x24”deep. Fire box will be about 30”long x24” in diameter.
Thanks for your opinions and help.

Nice build! Sorry can't give any guidance on questions but somebody should be along to answer question. Big like. Did you happen to look in the smoker build thread to see if any info?

I hate to bring this up because it looks like a tremendous amount of work but it looks like you have pressure treated wood inside the smoke chamber. I'm not remotely an expert but I would do some research on whether or not that is safe.

If it is treated it wont be safe, I wouldn't use pine either, heat and moisture will leach stuff out of wood , it may stop at some point, a cold smoker might not affect the wood. I always try to avoid possible problems, good luck

It is not supposed to be any pressure treated wood. Yes it is Pine, was thinking about putting a lining inside of it but atm want to get my fire box done correctly. All the wood I bought was to not be, only treated wood should be the fence boards on the one end.

Just an update on what it looks like after the temp gauges and some tin on it and the meat hooks
